A Spanish General attempts to start a Spanish Civil war and his loyal troops are poised to take over the government of Spain. The main hero is this Interpol lady who in Spain works to stop a international crisis. There was a lot of technical jargon about the Op centre procedures, and their toys to try and set that whole we’re good and we have the best toys atmosphere but the whole personal angles ruined it. I just love this series of books! This is a book of fiction, so these events are fictional, but the underlying story is about the ethnic groups that make up the country we know as Spain.

Bush climbing King Kong-style up to the top of the Twin Towers resembles American politics, and is just as offensive as the image I just conjured ppder. Maybe the attribution to Jeff Rovin, in the Goodreads listing, but not my book copy, affects the style.
