On the surface, it’s really a simply-told story that teenagers might like, but I can’t stop thinking about lageekvist days later. This novel bears some jottings on religion. I am ever myself, always the same, I live one life alone. In this way aspects of all these historical places and people are mixed into the background of the novel.
