It is rather to recognize that finding a material basis for the aspiration to transcend dependent capitalism is a problem of real life, not an academic question. Very often, going from Lowy’s exegesis back to the actual text, I scratch my head wondering how on earth he could have read some of the things incenfio didthey’d never occur to me that way.
While Benjamim can sometimes be hermetical, Lowy definitely is not. Atalaya, It would not surprise a reader of Benjamin that technology played an important part in this utopian moment, despite its archaic resonances and conscious embrace of historical precedent.

Occasionally he takes things towards political conclusions that are less than interesting, but if you can follow avuso methodology to your own conclusions you will get a lot out of this book.
