In an interview for an on-line article for multitrack recording software for musicians, I was asked about how songwriters can collaborate and publish in a home studio. A few years ago, I used SONAR in my studio to record a pretty cool tune, "Seek away", written and performed by Marianna and Derek B. Wanting to do a remix, I imported the MP3 file into Mixcraft 8 (see how to import and sync an MP3 file in Mixcraft 8). We fattened up the song by adding synth bass and drum tracks, and, by dragging and dropping in orchestral loops that are included in Mixcraft 8.
